Happy woman

EVERYONE has a role to play in standing for children and family in critical life situations involving child welfare. No one person can do everything, but every person can do something. Are you ready to take the stand?

Steps to help you stand.png

1/ Let us know you are Standing!

When you fill out the information here, we will publish your name, city, and church on our list of Stand Sunday observers. We would also be honored to share ways you can stand not only in purpose but in presence through ongoing, practical service opportunities directly involved with those touched by the child welfare system.

2 / Order a T-Shirt

You can order a Stand Sunday T-Shirt here. Wear your shirt proudly on Sunday, November 9 signifying your observance of Stand Sunday, but also wear it throughout the year. When people ask you about your shirt, boldly share the message of Christ to care for the least of these.

3 / Post to Social Media

Post a photo of you in your Stand Sunday shirt and use #standsunday2025. Let your network of friends and family know that this year you are observing Stand Sunday in support of children and families involved or at risk for involvement with child welfare.

4 / Get Involved

Check out our 27 Ways to Engage in Foster Care Prevention, Intervention, and Transition so your stand is active and continues beyond Stand Sunday 2025. Download a copy here
